All set for Kwahu Business Forum at Mpraeso Social Centre from April 19-20

The second edition of the Kwahu Business Forum is set for April 19 and 20. It will take place at the Mpraeso Social Centre in the Kwahu South District.

The theme is “The Future of Business: The Role of the Financial Sector.” The forum aims to promote entrepreneurship and support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Ghana. Over 20 banks will participate, helping local businesses grow and supporting new startups.

President John Dramani Mahama will inspect an exhibition before addressing attendees. This forum aligns with his government's goal to develop Ghanaian-owned SMEs focused on export and manufacturing. Several bank managing directors will present later in the event.

Preparations are well underway for this year’s Kwahu Easter festival celebration. Benjamin Essuman, a member of the organizing committee, mentioned that the forum is oversubscribed. He emphasized that if taken seriously, bad loans could become a thing of the past.
