Stakeholders will meet on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
They will gather at the Women in Sustainability Africa Summit (WiSA) and Launch.
The event will be held at Wesley Towers, Ridge, Accra, Ghana.
It starts at 8:30 a.m.
The theme is "The Role of Women as a Source of Labour and Agents of Sustainability."
Women in Sustainability Africa (WiSA) organizes the summit.
They collaborate with several ministries and organizations.
These include the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment.
Notable attendees include H.E. Jewel Taylor, former Vice President of Liberia.
Other speakers are Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey and Rashid Pelpuo.
Issifu Seidu and Nana Yaa Sarpong will also speak at the event.
Hon. George Opare Addo from Youth Development will attend too.
Additionally, Hon. Abigail Elorm Yaa Mensah from MASLOC will be present.
H.E. Edmond Moukala from UNESCO is another key speaker.
Ama Pratt, Press Secretary to the Vice President of Ghana, will join as well.
Dr. KY Dele is a Community Impact Strategist attending the summit.
Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi is the CEO of EIB Network.
Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong leads efforts to unite women’s groups across Africa.
She aims to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through collaboration with men and organizations.
Sarpong believes women can lead ethical initiatives for SDG success.
She emphasizes that both men and women must work together for progress.
"Inclusion means collaborating with men," she stated firmly.
"Together we stand; divided we fall," she concluded passionately.
Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong has 26 years in media experience this year.
She is General Manager of EIB Network and an ordained pastor as well.
