Alleged Cocaine & Money Laundering @ KIA: Mahama Breaks Out In A Cold Sweat … Directs All Security Apparatus To Probe Report

**President Mahama Responds to Drug Trafficking Allegations**

President John Dramani Mahama is shocked by recent allegations. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Minority accused individuals of drug trafficking and money laundering at Kotoka International Airport (KIA). In response, President Mahama has ordered immediate investigations.

On April 2, 2025, President Mahama posted on Facebook. He directed security agencies to work with Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, the MP for Assin North. They will investigate the allegations regarding suspicious flights.

The President stated, “My attention has been drawn to allegations made at a press conference.” He referred to two flights suspected of involvement in drug trafficking and money laundering. He emphasized that the government takes all allegations seriously.

He instructed relevant agencies like NACOC and the Police CID to collaborate fully with Fordjour. They are expected to gather necessary information for a thorough investigation.

**Details of the Allegation**

Rev. John Ntim Fordjour addressed journalists about the flights. He mentioned AirMed Flight N823AM and Cavok Air Antonov An-12B landed at KIA from Gran Canaria on March 20 and March 12, respectively. These private jets reportedly carried suspicious cargo linked to drug trafficking.

Fordjour noted it was strange that both flights departed for the same location on March 25, 2025. This was five and thirteen days after they arrived in Ghana.

**Request for Meeting**

Shortly after President Mahama's post, a letter was sent requesting a meeting between security agencies and the Defence Committee. Rev. Fordjour wrote to invite representatives from National Security, Police CID, NACOC, and NIB.

He wants these agencies to update the committee on ongoing investigations into various cases involving gold bars and cocaine worth millions of dollars. The committee aims to provide useful information for these investigations as well.

**Flight Search Confirmation**

The Chronicle conducted an independent search regarding Flight Airmed N823AM's details. According to flightaware.com, it departed Santa Maria Island on March 19, 2025, at 07:51 AM and landed in Gran Canaria at 10:41 AM.
