President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has urged that embattled former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Adwoa Safo, be given a fair hearing following her revelations on alleged corruption within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Ghana’s School Feeding Programme.

Speaking on Channel One TV, Cudjoe emphasized the importance of allowing Adwoa Safo to share her side of the story, especially after years of being misrepresented.

“I think the lady must be heard, especially because she has been vilified in the media. Now that she is speaking, we need to let her speak,” he stated.

Cudjoe also questioned the NPP’s directive barring discussions on why the party lost power in 2024, arguing that such conversations are inevitable.

He highlighted Adwoa Safo’s claim that party leadership ignored her warnings about the mismanagement of the School Feeding Programme, stating that her concerns should have been addressed.

With Adwoa Safo now facing the NPP’s Disciplinary Committee for breaching internal discussion rules, Cudjoe suggested she submit her findings to the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) initiative for proper investigation and accountability.

He stressed that full disclosure is necessary for governance reforms and transparency in Ghana.
