Amb. Sam Pee Yalley dead

Sam Pee Yalley, former Ghanaian High Commissioner to India, has died.

The cause of his sudden death is not yet known.

His passing was announced by Malik Basintale on Facebook. He is the Deputy National Communications Officer of the NDC.

Basintale paid tribute to Yalley, calling him a respected diplomat and public figure. He described him as "a good man" and expressed hope to reunite with him someday.

"You were a good man! We shall meet again someday H.E," he wrote, adding a crying emoji.

Sam Pee Yalley was a seasoned lawyer and government official. He served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority.

In 2014, President John Mahama appointed him as Ghana's Ambassador to India. Yalley was known for advocating female leadership in Ghana.

During his time as Ambassador, he promoted Ghana's interests abroad. He also worked to strengthen diplomatic ties with India.
