Antoine Semenyo believes Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is destined for greatness.
Iraola has done an impressive job at the club. He aims to be the first manager to lead Bournemouth to European football. The team wants to finish the season strong.
Currently, Bournemouth sits 10th in the league. They are eight points behind Newcastle United, who hold the last European spot.
Semenyo praised his boss in an interview with SuperSport. He said, "He has the potential to be a top manager."
Semenyo added that Iraola is great with player management. "He gets on with the players and team so well," he noted. This connection is important for success on and off the pitch.
The Ghanaian forward is thriving this season under Iraola's guidance. He has scored nine goals and provided five assists in 35 appearances. These are his best numbers since joining from Bristol City.
Semenyo explained how Iraola gives him freedom in attack. "I feel free and relaxed during training," he said. He enjoys going past players and shooting from long range.
He also mentioned that he helps defensively when needed. "I'm doing my defensive job, which gives me space to attack," he stated.
This season, Semenyo has scored seven league goals for Bournemouth. He ranks third on the team behind Justin Kluivert (12) and Evanilson (9).
