Anne Sansa Daly was not sworn- in as NHIA board member- Ministry of Health clarifies

The Ministry of Health has issued a statement about Ms. Anne Sansa Daly. Reports claimed she was sworn in as a board member of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). The Ministry denied these claims.

Spokesperson Tony Goodman signed the statement. He described a publication by Graphic Online as inaccurate and misleading. The Ministry provided a timeline to clarify the situation.

Ms. Daly was first appointed to the NHIA Board on May 19, 2025. This appointment was revoked on May 23, 2025, when a replacement was named.

The Ministry emphasized that Ms. Daly was not sworn in on May 27, 2025. This ceremony took place at the Ministry of Health.
