The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, spoke on May 11, 2025. He emphasized President John Dramani Mahama's commitment to inclusive education. This education aims to help Ghanaians succeed in a knowledge-based economy.
Dr. Apaak highlighted the government's Free Senior High School policy. He also mentioned the No Fee Stress initiative as important parts of this vision.
He addressed beneficiaries of the Relief and Aid International Educational Scholarship during his speech. He said, “Your scholarship interventions remove financial barriers.” He added that these efforts ignite hope and leadership in the next generation.
This aligns with Ghana's educational agenda for equitable and relevant education. “We are building a system that leaves no learner behind,” he stated.
Peggy Adamafio, Founder and President of Relief and Aid International, also spoke. She urged beneficiaries to prove themselves worthy of their awards. “Carry this torch with humility,” she advised them.
She reminded them to remember those who helped them in their time of need. One day, they will have the chance to help others too.
