Musician Sonnie Badu has urged prophets in the country to be cautious. He believes they should use wisdom when making death prophecies.
His comments follow recent predictions about Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
In a social media post, he noted that many prophets have lost family members. He said witnessing their devastation shows that losing a loved one is serious.
Badu addressed both major and minor prophets directly. He emphasized the importance of speaking with wisdom. Prophesying someone's death does not show power; it spreads doom instead.
He stated that true revelation should come with redemption. Without redemption, it may not be from God.
Badu pleaded with all prophets to consider the families involved. Such prophecies can instill fear in people. As prophets grow, they should mature in their understanding of God.
He also sent well wishes to Vice President Opoku-Agyemang, saying, “Mummy, get well soon.” He encouraged her to take time to rest after her hard work during the campaign. Badu expressed his prayers and love for her as well.
