April 18 and 21st declared public holidays

The Interior Ministry has announced two public holidays.

Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, will be observed.

These days mark Good Friday and Easter Monday.

A statement from the ministry confirmed these holidays are statutory.

It read: "The general public is hereby informed that Friday, 18th April 2025, and Monday, 21st April 2025, which mark Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively, are Statutory Public Holidays and should be observed as such throughout the country."

The statement was signed by Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak (MP), Minister for the Interior.

It was issued on April 14, 2025.
