Police officers and a court bailiff reportedly interrupted a live broadcast at Metro TV over a long-standing debt owed to Vodacom.
The debt, which dates back over three years, led to legal action and a writ of execution allowing the seizure of assets.
Although the dispute has fueled speculation, sources clarify that it is a private business matter, not political.
The bailiff, with a court order, attempted to seize property but was met with resistance from Metro TV’s security.
The exact amount owed is not public, but a similar incident occurred in the past when three vehicles belonging to the station were confiscated.
