Legal expert and statesman Kwaku Ansa-Asare has urged President-elect John Dramani Mahama to prioritize prosecuting officials of the Lands Commission when he takes office.
Speaking on Onua TV on December 10, 2024, Ansa-Asare alleged widespread corruption within the Lands Commission, accusing its officials of illegally selling state lands and properties.
He described the agency as a key player in what he termed the "looting and capturing" of state assets.
While acknowledging that Nana Addo’s administration cannot bear sole blame for these issues, Ansa-Asare highlighted the Lands Commission as a significant contributor to the nation's challenges and pledged to expose specific individuals involved in the alleged misconduct.
