Ashaiman-Afienya/Dawhenya roads: Minister deploys 2 contractors  …to undertake emergency repairs - Ghanaian Times

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has taken action. He deployed two local construction firms for emergency road repairs. The firms are First Sky Group and Oswal Investments Limited.

These repairs will focus on the Tema Motorway to Dawhenya and Ashaiman-Afienya stretches. This move aims to relieve thousands of road users from heavy traffic congestion. Many have been facing deteriorating road conditions on these routes.

Mr. Agbodza, who is also the MP for Adaklu, visited the areas on Tuesday. He wanted to see the traffic situation that commuters face daily.

He stated that emergency repair work would start immediately. These repairs will occur alongside full-scale construction planned to begin in two months.
