Assemblies confirm DCEs for Dormaa West, Berekum West

On Friday, two District Chief Executives (DCEs) were confirmed in the Bono Region. They were nominated by President John Mahama.

Mr. Collins Asumah was confirmed as the DCE for Berekum West. All 27 eligible voters supported him, including nine government appointees.

Mr. Stephen Azorba Aminu was confirmed as the DCE for Dormaa West. He received 14 out of 15 votes, which is 83 percent.

Justice Gabriel Mate-Teye, a Supervising High Court judge, swore in both DCEs. He also swore in the government appointees at the ceremony.
