Government appointees must declare their assets by May 6, 2025.
Those who fail to do so will be dismissed.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister in Charge of Government Communications, issued this warning. He announced it in a Facebook post.
“All defaulters have until the end of tomorrow to comply,” he stated.
If they do not declare their assets, they will be automatically dismissed.
The President has also ordered these appointees to forfeit three months' salary. This amount will go to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund.
Previously, all government appointees were required to donate one month’s salary to this health initiative. Now, they will lose a total of four months' salary.
This announcement was made by Mr. Kwakye Ofosu on Monday, May 5.
