At 2025 Quranic translation:  National Chief Imam calls for end to Bawku conflict - Ghanaian Times

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh (Dr) Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, led a closing session. This event took place over the weekend. It was part of the 2025 Quranic translation series. The sessions were held at the National Mosque and Central Mosque in Abossey Okai.

The event was organized by several groups. These included the National Council of Zongo Chiefs and the Advisory Board of the Office of the National Chief Imam. The Executive and Management Committee of Kanda Mosque also participated.

The first session occurred at the National Mosque on Saturday. The second session took place at the Central Mosque on Sunday.

This annual Quranic translation series happens during Ramadan. It serves as an important platform for interpreting the Holy Quran.

During his address, Sheikh Sharubutu called for an end to the conflict in Bawku.
