President John Dramani Mahama has noted early signs of macroeconomic stability. Inflation is gradually easing, which is a positive development.
He emphasized that disciplined management is helping restore confidence in the economy.
“I am confident—we are turning a corner,” President Mahama stated sincerely. However, he added that recovery alone is not enough.
“We must aim higher—toward transformation,” he said. The goal is to build a resilient, inclusive, and productive economy.
President Mahama made these remarks at the second Kwahu Business Forum. The event took place in Mpraeso, Eastern Region, on Saturday. The theme was ‘The Future of Business: The Role of the Financial Sector.’
