At a point, NDC was unattractive to the middle class – KSM

KSM, a prominent media personality, has articulated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) struggled to appeal to the middle class at various points in its history. He emphasized that this disconnect stemmed from the party's inability to resonate with the aspirations and values of this demographic. KSM noted that while the NDC has traditionally garnered support from lower-income groups, its message often failed to engage middle-class voters who seek stability and progressive policies.

He pointed out that political parties must adapt their narratives and strategies to attract a broader base, particularly as Ghana's socio-economic landscape evolves. According to KSM, re-establishing trust and relevance among middle-class citizens is crucial for the NDC’s future success in elections. He urged party leaders to actively listen to the concerns of this group and craft policies that address their needs. This shift could potentially enhance the party's appeal and foster greater inclusivity within its support base, ultimately strengthening its position in Ghana’s competitive political arena.
