Ato Forson is a very knowledgeable Finance Minister - Stephen Amoah

Dr Stephen Amoah, NPP MP for Nhyiaeso, has praised Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson for his financial expertise, despite their political differences.

Speaking on Newsfile on Saturday, March 15, Dr Amoah said his experience working with Dr Forson in Parliament assures him of the minister’s competence.

“Ato Forson is a very knowledgeable Finance Minister. When I say it, people attack me, but I have worked with him on the Finance Committee, and I know what I’m talking about,” he noted.

However, he cautioned that expertise alone is not enough, urging the government to take bold steps to tackle inflation, debt, and job creation.

Dr Amoah also called for bipartisan efforts in addressing Ghana’s economic challenges, emphasizing that national interest must come before partisan debates.
