Auditor-General Johnson Akuamoah-Asiedu has urged for more rigorous verification of asset declarations by public officials, expressing concerns over the accuracy of information submitted.
During President John Mahama’s asset declaration submission on February 17, 2025, he questioned how authorities can confirm the completeness of declared assets.
