Millicent Amankwah Yeboah, the MP for Sunyani West, has donated 300 light poles. These poles will go to selected communities in her constituency.
The goal is to extend electricity to areas not connected to the national grid. This initiative aims to enhance development and improve residents' quality of life.
During the presentation, Ms. Amankwah Yeboah spoke with the media. She said the donation responds to requests from traditional leaders and community members.
She emphasized her commitment to serving Sunyani West and supporting local development efforts. “As the MP for Sunyani West, I remain dedicated to my people,” she stated.
These poles will help bring electricity to communities still in darkness. She encouraged community involvement in erecting the poles. She also called on all stakeholders to support this project.
A representative from Awuah Odumase and Odumase No. 1 expressed gratitude for the timely support. He assured that communities would effectively use the poles for successful electricity extension.
