The death toll in the Bawku conflict has reached 21 following the killing of a Bolga-Bawku driver on November 2.
Tensions have escalated since the return of Alhaji Seidu Abagre, a rival chief previously exiled due to an arrest warrant.
An October court ruling allowed his return, reigniting chieftaincy disputes and sparking violence, including recent fatal shootings.
Authorities have imposed a curfew, and security forces are working to restore calm in the conflict-ridden area.
