Bawku mediation: KUDU calls for fairness in process

The Kusaas Diaspora Union (KUDU) is seeking justice in Bawku. This follows recent killings and ongoing tensions in the area.

KUDU insists that mediation must be honest and fair. It should not ignore historical or legal records for convenience.

This message was shared in a statement by Dr. Mumuni Sharon, KUDU's Secretary. The statement was sent to Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak. It is titled "Clarifying the Path to True Justice and Peace in Bawku."

KUDU appreciates the Interior Minister’s empathy regarding recent killings. He condemned these acts during his visit to Bronx, New York. This included the murder of a woman and her four children in Binduri.

KUDU urges all stakeholders to condemn these ongoing inhumane acts in Bawku.
