Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has sent Eid ul Fitr greetings to Muslims. He also prayed for the country on this special occasion.
Eid is celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It marks the end of a month-long fast during Ramadan.
In a message on social media, Dr. Bawumia prayed for blessings from Ramadan. He wished all Ghanaians and the nation well.
"On this blessed occasion of Eid ul Fitr, Hajia Samira and I congratulate fellow Muslims," he said. "May Allah accept our prayers and bless us all."
He encouraged Muslims to continue their positive actions beyond Ramadan. "Let’s uphold kindness, especially towards the poor and vulnerable," he urged. "Eid Mubarak!"
