Bawumia Donates GHS 3 Million To NPP For Welfare Support

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has donated GHS 3 million to the party. This donation will support welfare activities in early 2025.

The contribution was made in two parts. In January, he gave GHS 2 million. Recently, he added another GHS 1 million. Both donations were presented through Mr. Charles Dwamena, the party’s National Treasurer.

Dr. Bawumia aims to strengthen the party's welfare structure. His support will help members in need, especially at the grassroots level. Party executives say this shows his commitment to NPP members nationwide.

Mr. Dwamena expressed gratitude for the donation after receiving it at the party's headquarters in Accra. He stated that this contribution will greatly aid welfare initiatives and provide relief to loyal members.

He also praised Dr. Bawumia for his ongoing support. The donation is timely as the party prepares for upcoming primaries and boosts grassroots mobilization efforts.
