Bawumia Practices ‘Chew and Pour’ Economics – NDC’s Eric Sosu

Eric Sosu, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, criticized former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He called Bawumia's economic approach superficial and impractical.

In an interview with Original TV in Accra, Sosu said Bawumia’s policies are mostly academic. He believes they do not lead to real-world solutions. “He is a textbook economist – all theory, no practicals,” Sosu stated. He used the term "chew and pour economics" to describe this approach.

Sosu also questioned Bawumia’s leadership qualities. He claimed that Bawumia lacks the courage for bold decisions. “He is not a man of himself,” Sosu said. According to him, Bawumia falls short when it comes to taking strong steps.
