At the Cambridge Africa Business Conference, former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia spoke passionately. He declared, “I was made for this.”

It also enhances financial inclusion and drives tax mobilization efforts.
Dr. Bawumia stressed that Africa's youth are crucial for building sustainable economies. Their energy and digital skills are vital for resilient institutions.
He called for greater collaboration among African governments, academia, and the private sector. Partnerships with universities like Cambridge are essential for driving innovation.
“Africa must invest in its people,” he said. This investment starts with education and access to technology.
