Bawumia donates GH¢3m to NPP for welfare support

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has donated GH¢3 million to the party. This donation will support welfare initiatives in early 2025.

In January, he gave 2 million Ghana cedis to the National Treasurer. This was on behalf of the General Secretary and National Chairman. A few weeks ago, he added another 1 million Ghana cedis.

Last week, he handed over this donation at the party’s headquarters in Accra. The recipient was Mr. Charles Dwamena, the National Treasurer.

Party executives say this donation aims to strengthen internal welfare systems. It will also help members in times of need.

This contribution reflects Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to party supporters nationwide. Mr. Dwamena thanked him for his generous support during a crucial time.

He emphasized that these funds would be used wisely for various welfare activities. The donation comes as the party prepares for upcoming primaries with a focus on unity and grassroots mobilization.
