Bawumia is blaming everything & everybody for NPP 2024 election loss except himself – Omane Boamah

Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah has criticized Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Bawumia is the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) 2024 presidential candidate.

In a Facebook post, Dr. Omane Boamah accused Bawumia of shifting blame. He said Bawumia blames everyone except himself for the NPP's election loss.

Dr. Omane Boamah pointed out that Bawumia was vice president during the Akufo-Addo administration. He stated that Bawumia played a key role in the NPP's economic issues, which led to their defeat.

Bawumia had previously blamed the NPP's loss on various factors. These included high living costs, arrogance of power, and policies like the Electronic Transfer Levy (E-Levy).

During an event at Takoradi Technical University, he noted that rising prices left many Ghanaians struggling. However, Dr. Omane Boamah emphasized that Bawumia’s involvement in economic decisions cannot be ignored.
