Bawumia is currently the most active and experienced politician in NPP – Miracles Aboagye

Miracles Aboagye is an aide to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He is the 2024 Presidential candidate for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). Aboagye believes Dr. Bawumia is the most experienced and active politician in the NPP.

He stated, "In our party today, the most experienced politician is Dr. Bawumia." He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia has been involved in politics longer than anyone else. He served as Vice President for eight years and was a running mate for another eight years, totaling sixteen years.

During an appearance on JoyNews AM Show, Mr. Aboagye expressed confidence in Dr. Bawumia's ability to lead the NPP back to power. He stressed that unity within the party is essential for success.

"Our fastest route to power is staying united," he said. "We must work together behind a leader who has clear policies." According to him, that leader is Dr. Bawumia.

Mr. Aboagye highlighted Dr. Bawumia's political experience and active role in the party as key factors for victory. He asserted there is no doubt about this claim; data and political history support it.

He suggested that if given a chance, Dr. Bawumia could restore Ghanaians' trust in the party and secure another term in office.

As discussions continue about the NPP's future direction, Mr. Aboagye's endorsement adds to ongoing leadership debates within the party.

Recently, Ernest Owusu Bempah, Deputy Communications Officer of the NPP, claimed over two million members did not vote due to poor candidate selection.

In response, Mr. Aboagye noted that Dr. Bawumia encourages teamwork within the party to regain power and implement their ideas across various sectors.
