Bawumia’s ‘we’ speech reflects collective accountability – Opare-Ansah

Frederick Opare-Ansah is the Campaign Manager for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He addressed concerns about Bawumia's views on the previous administration's failures.

In an interview on Citi Prime News, Opare-Ansah said Dr. Bawumia has recognized the government's shortcomings. He noted that public discontent was a significant issue during their time in office.

Opare-Ansah mentioned that Dr. Bawumia often uses "we" in his speeches. This emphasizes the shared responsibility of the administration.

He explained, “In all his speeches, the pronoun that has been used most widely has been ‘we.’”

Dr. Bawumia tells constituents that research shows they felt unheard while he was in government.

The Campaign Manager pointed out clear feedback from constituents: the government failed to listen to them.

People expressed dissatisfaction with various policies, including the E-levy.

“They said we should reshuffle, but we did not reshuffle,” Opare-Ansah said.

He added that Dr. Bawumia acknowledged their dislike for the E-levy and admitted they did not respond to it properly.
