Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has encouraged Muslims to uphold the values of generosity and compassion beyond Ramadan.

In his Eid-ul-Fitr message, Dr. Bawumia, alongside Hajia Samira, congratulated Muslims for completing the month-long fast and emphasized the importance of supporting the less privileged.

"May the Almighty Allah accept our supplications and extend His favours upon us and our nation," he stated on social media.

Attending Eid prayers at Burma Camp in Accra, he urged Muslims to continue their acts of kindness, saying, "Let us uphold the virtues of kindness, especially to the poor and vulnerable."

His message reinforced the need for ongoing community support and unity beyond the holy month.
