Bawumia urges Muslims to sustain kindness beyond Ramadan

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged Muslims to keep showing generosity and compassion after Ramadan.

In his Eid-ul-Fitr message, he congratulated Muslims in Ghana and worldwide for completing the month-long fast. He emphasized the importance of supporting vulnerable people in society.

“On this blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajia Samira and I send our warmest congratulations to fellow Muslims,” he wrote on social media.

He also prayed for blessings upon the nation and its people. “May Allah accept our prayers and extend His favours to us all,” he added.

Dr. Bawumia encouraged Muslims to continue their acts of kindness beyond Ramadan.

“Let us maintain the virtues of kindness we showed during the holy month, especially towards the poor,” he stated. “Eid Mubarak.”

The former Vice President attended Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Burma Camp in Accra. He joined fellow worshippers in celebrating the end of Ramadan.
