Bawumia visits injured KNUST student at Komfo Anokye Hospital

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited Herbert, a KNUST student. Herbert was stabbed in Kumasi on Monday night.

He is a member of the Unity Hall "jama group" at KNUST. Herbert participated in cheer songs during the NPP’s "Thank You Tour" in Bantama on Tuesday.

The stabbing occurred after a misunderstanding over money with another group. Herbert is currently receiving treatment at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Bawumia continued his thank you tour in the Ashanti Region. He visited Herbert at the hospital on Wednesday evening.

Accompanied by NPP leaders, Dr. Bawumia expressed sympathy to the injured student. He donated GH¢50,000 to help cover Herbert’s medical expenses.

Herbert's grandmother received the donation on his behalf. She thanked Dr. Bawumia and the delegation for their visit.

Dr. Bawumia thanked Allah for sparing Herbert’s life and wished him a speedy recovery.
