Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has addressed Ghanaians. He urged them to be patient as electricity tariffs will rise by 14.75%. This increase takes effect on May 3, 2025.
The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) announced this tariff adjustment. It aims to stabilize the energy sector and tackle financial issues.
