The National Labour Commission (NLC) has welcomed Dr. Bernice Anowa Welbeck. She is the new Acting Executive Secretary of the Commission.
On Friday, April 25, the NLC issued a statement. The Members, Management, and Staff congratulated Dr. Welbeck on her appointment. They described it as well-deserved and timely.

Dr. Welbeck has extensive experience in public administration. She specializes in labour administration, policy governance, and human resources management.
She is also an expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Additionally, she is a seasoned HR specialist and respected management consultant.
Dr. Welbeck has dedicated 34 years to civil and public service. Her contributions have significantly impacted national development.
Her academic credentials are impressive as well. She has 21 years of experience as a trainer and facilitator.
Dr. Welbeck also spent 12 years lecturing at the graduate level. She is known for her skills in curriculum development and instructional design.
She teaches various courses including Leadership, Organisational Development, and Strategic Human Resource Management. Other subjects include Industrial Relations, Negotiations, Public Administration, and International Relations.
