The government will soon launch a new education initiative called "Beyond Academic Skills."
This program aims to equip students with skills for life after school.
Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu announced the initiative recently.
It focuses on teaching skills beyond just reading and math.
The goal is to help students become functional in the workforce.
The program also aims to develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Mr. Iddrisu made this announcement while inaugurating a 13-member committee.
This committee will supervise and review the school curriculum from Kindergarten to primary six.
The event took place in Accra yesterday.
