Jonina Ladies goalkeeper Osman Huziema has received her first call-up. She will join the senior women's national team, the Black Queens, for training.
Huziema is part of Kim Lars Bjorkegren's squad for May's international break. The squad includes 24 home-based players for assessment.
She has been a consistent performer in the Malta Guinness Ghana Women's Premier League. Her team was promoted to the top flight recently.
In the last two seasons, Huziema ranked second in clean sheets. She has also helped Jonina reach the final of the Women's FA Cup.
A total of 32 players have been invited to camp. It will take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram from May 3 to May 12.
Notable players from various clubs will attend, including Police Ladies and Army Ladies. Some foreign-based players who missed previous camps will also join.
Players must report by 10:00 am on Sunday, May 3. This camp aims to evaluate and prepare the squad for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
