The Black Queens of Ghana held their final training session on Thursday. This was ahead of their first friendly game against Côte d'Ivoire.
The team is currently in Abidjan for a training camp. They will play two friendly games against Les Elephants.
This camp helps prepare the team for the delayed 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
Friday's match will be the fourth game under head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren. He replaced Nora Hauptle earlier this year.
Bjorkegren expressed satisfaction with the training session. He praised the team's intensity and commitment.
"It was a good exercise," he said. "I liked the intensity and commitment everyone showed today."
The team arrived yesterday, and this was their first training session. The coach is impressed with their performance so far.
The game against Côte d'Ivoire will kick off at 19:00 GMT.
