Black Stars will be successful with Chad, Madagascar performances - Otto Addo

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is optimistic about the team's future. He believes they can qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This belief comes after strong performances against Chad and Madagascar.

In March, his team won 5-0 and 3-0 in qualifiers. These victories ended a six-game winless streak across all competitions. The wins also placed the team at the top of Group I, three points ahead of Comoros.

Addo noted areas for improvement despite the wins. He praised their solid defense and goal-scoring ability against Chad and Madagascar. However, he emphasized that their connection on the field needs to be stronger.

He mentioned that the upcoming game against Mali will be challenging. If they maintain their current form, Addo believes they can achieve success. With four games left to play, he hopes for back-to-back World Cup appearances.
