The Ghana Bloggers Association has announced a national program for 2025. This initiative aims to enhance bloggers' skills and promote digital literacy.
Attractive Mustapha, the Association's President, spoke in Kumasi about the program. He shared that it will include training and capacity-building workshops.
These sessions will teach practical skills like SEO optimization, content monetization, and ethics in digital journalism. They will also cover video blogging and podcasting.
“We believe the future of media lies in the digital space,” said Attractive Mustapha. He emphasized that equipping members with these skills invests in future digital leaders.
The program will also launch Digital Literacy Campaigns for schools and communities. These campaigns will focus on safe internet practices and digital storytelling techniques.
They will also teach the basics of online entrepreneurship. Attractive Mustapha stated that the goal is to raise professional standards within Ghana’s blogging community.
Additionally, they aim to prepare young Ghanaians for opportunities in the global digital economy. The national program is set to begin this week.
It will start in the Volta and Oti Regions before expanding to all 16 regions of Ghana.
