BoG to mark 60 years of the Ghana Cedi with nationwide engagements

“This anniversary allows Ghanaians to reflect on the Cedi's history,” said the notice. It encourages celebrating progress and protecting the currency's value.

The Bank aims to engage the public on monetary stability. They will promote digital financial tools during this period. Planned activities include launches, educational campaigns, dialogues, and exhibitions.
