Former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko has urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to embark on a rebranding process, warning that the party has strayed from its founding principles.
Addressing growing concerns within the party, Agyarko stressed that the push for rebranding reflects dissatisfaction with the NPP’s current state and a recognition that its image has been damaged.
Citing John Gardner’s Self Renewal, he emphasized the need for organizations to periodically reassess their mission.
He called for a return to the party’s core tenets, including rule of law, free markets, and individual rights, to restore its ideological strength.
As the NPP seeks to reconnect with voters, Agyarko’s call signals an internal push for reform and renewed commitment to the party’s original vision.
