Bono REGSEC resolves to end conflict… between cattle herders and farmers

The Bono Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has called a meeting. They will meet with the Association of Fulani Community in the region. The goal is to find lasting solutions to conflicts. These conflicts involve farmers and nomadic cattle herders.

This meeting comes after recent disturbances in Berekum Municipality. Cattle have destroyed farmlands in several communities there. The affected areas include Kotaa, Namasua, Tewbabi, and Abisaase.

The ongoing conflict between farmers and cattle herders is a major concern. It often leads to destruction of lives and property in the region.
