Bono: Yawhima Zongo chief calls for unity among Muslim chiefs to foster development

The Yawhima Zongo Chief, Alhaji Shaibu Sumaila, has called for unity among Muslim chiefs. He believes this unity is essential for community development and progress.

During the Sala celebration in Yawhima, he warned that division among chiefs could hinder growth. This lack of unity may negatively impact the well-being of the Yawhima Zongo community.

Alhaji Sumaila expressed concern about their exclusion from government programs. He stated that a united front would help them advocate effectively for development.

“We need to come together as leaders,” he said. “Unity will empower us to push for progress.”

He also announced plans to build a place of worship in Yawhima. He appealed for government support to complete this project.

At the celebration, Yawhima Chief Imam Sali urged Muslims to live righteously. He emphasized the importance of harmony within the community.

The Sala event gathered community members and leaders. They celebrated and discussed ways to advance the Zongo community’s development.
