Book on notarial practice launched - Ghanaian Times

Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo highlighted the importance of notarial practice in Ghana's legal system. She called it essential for ensuring integrity in legal documents.

Her comments came during the launch of the book “Notarial Practice in Ghana: Law, Cases, and Materials.” The book was authored by Daniel Yaw Abaidoo and launched in Accra on Thursday.

In an address read on her behalf, she praised the author. She acknowledged his dedication to creating a comprehensive legal resource. This resource will benefit legal practitioners, researchers, and judicial officers.

She pointed out that notaries often go unnoticed. However, their role is crucial for maintaining document authenticity in legal and commercial transactions.
