Bribery allegations against Appointments Committee frivolous – Ade Coker

Ade Coker Ade Coker

Former Greater Accra NDC Chairman, Ade Coker, has strongly dismissed bribery allegations made by social media activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor against the Appointments Committee, calling them “frivolous.”

Speaking to the media after parliamentary proceedings were briefly suspended over the claims, Coker expressed frustration that the accusations had disrupted business.

Barker-Vormawor had alleged on Facebook that ministerial nominees were being asked to pay bribes for approval.

In response, Coker confirmed that Parliament’s Clerk had invited him to provide evidence, insisting the vetting process would proceed as planned.

Despite this, Barker-Vormawor remained firm in his stance, stating he was prepared to appear before the committee to substantiate his claims.
