Bridget Otoo quits Metro TV

Ace broadcast journalist Bridget Otoo has left Metro TV in Accra.

She resigned three years after joining the station in 2021. Bridget started as a news anchor and presenter. She expressed gratitude to Metro TV for the opportunity when she joined.

In her 2021 post, she thanked Managing Director Kayode Akintemi. She also appreciated Dr. Randy Abbey for believing in her talent. Metro TV welcomed her, expressing excitement about working together.

The station has not officially announced her resignation yet. However, sources say she has informed management of her decision. Bridget thanked her colleagues on their WhatsApp group before leaving.

Additionally, she asked President John Mahama to appoint her as GTV's Director-General for one week. She wants to make changes during that time. In a post on X, she wrote, “Dear @JDMahama, could you please appoint me as DG of @GTV_Ghana for one week? I want to do something small there.”
