Brigadier General Glover Ashong Annan appointed Commissioner of Customs

President John Mahama has appointed Brigadier General Glover Ashong Annan as the new Commissioner of the Customs Division at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

Brig. Gen. Annan is a respected officer in the Ghana Army. He replaces Brigadier General Ziblim Ayorrogo, who received praise from the President for his service.

Before this appointment, Brig. Gen. Annan was the Presidential Security Coordinator. He is known for his dedication, discipline, and patriotism.

The President expects him to bring renewed purpose to the Customs Division. Brig. Gen. Annan will help support GRA in achieving its revenue targets.

This effort is part of a broader plan to revamp Ghana’s economy.
