Bryan Acheampong sets up an exploratory committee ahead of flagbearership bid

Bryan Acheampong, the Member of Parliament for Abetifi, is forming an exploratory committee. This committee will help him in his bid to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2028 elections.

According to a statement from his team, the committee will meet with stakeholders. They will assess how well his vision aligns with party aspirations. The committee is expected to report back within four weeks.

Acheampong believes it’s time for the party to return to its core values. He feels he has the experience needed to lead, having served the party for years.

He also expressed his loyalty to the NPP. He stated that he believes in the party's ability to overcome challenges and lead Ghana toward a brighter future.

Acheampong urged all NPP members to remain steadfast and conduct themselves well. He emphasized progress, inclusivity, and effective leadership for Ghana.

He joins other party members who have declared their intention to run for flagbearer of the NPP.
